Many students struggle in school. They often move from grade to grade falling further and further behind. These students become experienced struggling students. They are turned off to learning; it’s our job as teachers to turn them back on. To do this we must actively engage them in the learning process. This webinar will provide strategies in all five strands of reading: phonemic awareness, phonics, fluency, vocabulary, and comprehension to assist students in becoming more proficient readers.
