Every year, over nine million children in Nigeria under the age of 18 are exposed to sexual violence. Against their will, these children are touched in sexual ways, are forced or pressured to have sex, or sex is attempted with them.
This happens to one out of every 4 girls and 1 out of every 10 boys before they turn 18. It might be your daughter. It might be your son. It might be your sibling, cousin, or friend. You might not know it, as most children don’t tell anyone what has happened to them.
How many more children will have to suffer in silence?
This film, funded by UNICEF and produced by MIND, supports the Nigerian Government's Year of Action to End Violence Against Children.
