William V. Madison, author of MADELINE KAHN: BEING THE MUSIC, A LIFE (http://www.upress.state.ms.us/books/1746) hosts an all-star tribute at New York’s Metropolitan Room, featuring several of Kahn’s friends and colleagues, as well as performers from Broadway, opera, and cabaret who have been inspired by her.
