As the Millennium Development Goals draw to a close and governments agree the new Sustainable Development Goals, close to a billion people remain in extreme poverty, earning less than $1.25 a day.
This 'bottom billion' includes girls out of school, older people, disabled people, and other marginalised groups. To achieve the new global goals, governments must target support to these groups and leave no one behind.
This film shows the lives of 4 marginalised groups of people, as a wake-up call to policy makers to increase their efforts to ensure no on is left behind.
The film was shot in Ghana over the course of 5 days on the Sony FS7 at 100fps.
