Some basic tests to learn a bit Houdini grid based Fluids.
No compositing done, straight out from mantra.
Slower than maya fluids, but the upres function and the combustion model are really nice and there's a lot more control than in maya.

Tests are done on a i7 920 with 12gigs of ram.
Flicking in the first sim must be because of the too low deep shadows settings. Also I forgot to dissipate the density in the upres.
For the advected particles, looking at the ram I used I could probably go much much higher, but there's more interesting stuff to do in Houdini :)
