The Race4Chase is a wonderful program that was born out of tragedy. Chase Michael Anthony Kowalski was one of the many victims of the Sandy Hook Shootings on December 14, 2012. Chase's family decided to take this horrible tragedy and turn it into something great and beneficial to children, teenagers and adults in the community. The Race4Chase was born out of Chases's love for triathlons, completing his first one at age 6. The Kowalski's knew how much Chase loved the challenge of the race and the feeling of accomplishment and joy he received when he finished the race. The race4chase is a program that gives kids training and nutrition advice and prepares them to compete in the race4chase triathlon. What makes this program so special is it's FREE! It does not cost families a dime - from training camps to the actual race. Having been asked to film one of the many race's was an honor and I can't be more proud of this film, the Kowalski's and this organization.
