During my two-week summer break from college, I drove about 14 hours west to The Bisti Badlands in Northwest New Mexico from Oklahoma. I spent around 10 days filming out in the Bisti, and towards the end of my trip I went further west to capture Shiprock, Valley of the Gods, Mexican Hat, and Natural Bridges National Park. All shot on Canon EOS 7D with 24-105 L series lens. All motion control moves done with KESSLER CINESLIDER, ORACLE CONTROLLER, and ELEKTRA DRIVE thanks to Tom Lowe @ Timescapes and Eric Kessler @ Kessler Cranes. BIG THANKS for loaning me the dolly Eric! The Bisti Badlands are like nowhere else I have ever been, and I urge everyone to go if you ever have the chance. It's truly like another planet out there, you will not believe the hoodoos and insane rock formations you will find there. Enjoy!
