The Minna Anthony Common Nature Center is a learning center for children and adults of all ages. The main building consists of aquariums, educational displays of local animals, and a store consisting of custom logo apparel and more. Outdoor children games, a Butterfly House housing hundreds of butterflies and 600 acres of land surrounded by the St. Lawrence River with over 9 miles of trails makes this a very beautiful and unique year round attraction. COME BY CAR, FOOT, BICYCLE, or BOAT!
YOUR HELP IS NEEDED! The Center is in need of renovations for the building as well as the educational displays. The leaking roof needs to be fixed and the heating system renovated. In a public-private partnership, The Friends of The Nature Center and the New York State Parks have agreed to rehabilitate, expand and modernize the Center. Working hand in hand, the private non-profit Friends of The Nature Center, Inc. will assist in the design and implementation of the new educational displays and upgrades to the interior.
Your donations can assist in making the dream come true! Please visit us at MACNatureCenter.com/donate
