At first glance, the stories about two misfits, Oah & Harlam, may appear as senseless. But where there is an overflow of senselessness therein lies deep philosophy. These stories are not just shorts; they are a worldview, answers to questions of reality, grotesque simplicity of that which seems to be surreal. In this project, fragments of relatable moments, thoughts, and actions are applied to animation, music, and spoken word. There is a need to write fairytales for grownups, to write almost impossible stories. When we seriously begin to talk about intimate things in life, the instinct is to turn away. Storytelling and animation provide a filter, allowing us to truly engage with the most profound aspects of our being.
