The crew takes the new Drift HD170 out of it's box to compare it to the ContourHD1080p and the GoPro HD HERO.

This was a pre-sales version of the Drift HD170, which we now have official versions for sale. The pre-sale version had a small vignette problem with it's lens in 720 mode, which has since been corrected in the official sales version.

What is really interesting in this video is if you pause it (while watching in HD mode), when the split-screen comparison is running and see the compression quality of the video codecs between the three cameras. The Drift HD170 has some exceptional results!
