A magical time in the Civil Twilight to fly a trike into the SuperMoon.Photographer and video master Damien Beresford had an idea to capture a trike in the SuperMoon, an event that brings the moon at its closest proximity to the earth while at the same time eclipsing by the earth. The event only happens every 32 years or so. Frank Dempsey flew his trike in the vicinity of a photographic path that captures it within the moon. On the ground, Damien Beresfors guides Dempsey to get the shot by aircraft radio. The moon comes out at sunset. Dempsey flies his trike well into civil twilight as the sky turns very dark with the eclipsed moon. Takeoff and landings in a towered airport are viewed.
