Directed by Heather Eddington, this new work from State of Flux delves into the touching and poetic story of one woman’s experience of dementia. Tackled with elegance and skill, using beautiful imagery, the dancers relive her memories and tell her story.

Forgetting Natasha is the first full-length show from State of Flux, incorporating live dance with digital film and the latest live animation techniques. A true collaboration between Heather Eddington, poet Anna Mae Selby and internationally acclaimed media artists KMA the work challenges its audiences senses through dance, spoken word and the moving image.

Synopsis:
Natasha is forgetting who she is. When she first discovered she was losing her memory, Natasha wrote down the story of her life...the problem is she can’t remember where she put it.

What will Natasha be without her memories? Will she disappear? If she can’t remember, did she ever exist, and even if she finds her book, will it be too late?
