This is my attempt to capture the August 12, 2010 Perseids meteor shower from about 2:00am to 5:30am.
No sleep for me.
Ok, so I was all pumped up about this. I thought I was getting some pretty sexy stuff here. It looked pretty good, but I was a wee-tad disappointed that the shower wasn’t super intense. I knew that the shower took place in the North Eastern sky, but Father just informed me that I was filming the North Western.
Dang. Maybe next year…
This is my first DSLR time-lapse and boy was it tricky. I gotta figure out a way to get it less grainy. ISO 500 to 800, 20 sec, f/2.8. Any suggestions?
