Filmed for and during Colchester Film Festival 60 Hour Film Challenge, October 2015.
The brief was:
Title: An amazing day
Line of dialogue: "It was never going to work."
Action: An item of food is opened and the food is discarded but the packaging is kept.
For those interested, all the footage was shot on Black Magic Cinema and Pocket Cinema Cameras @ 24fps and shot through a variety of Canon's glass. Underwater footage was shot on GoPro Hero 3+ at 50fps (no password: no live view, filmed it practically blind). Editing and grading were done solely in DaVinci Resolve 12.0.1.
Blip Blip team members: Uros Arsenijevic (the protagonist and our youngest team member), Tijana and Richard Lackey, Atif Abu-Samra (that would be me, our oldest team member). Special thanks to A. and I. Arsenijevic, for bringing to this world such a talented young performer :)
Oh, and the pizzas arrived on time - thanks Pizza Man!
Now I'm gonna go and have a quiet word with the Pillow Man - he pretty much did nothing for the past 60 hours. Bad doggy!
Or was this supposed to be a description of the film?
