Scotty Dunbar's passion for music lead him to many concerts over the years including Great White at The Station nightclub in West Warwick, RI on the night of February 20th, 2003. This night would change his life forever as a tragic fire ignited during the band's opening song. The fire ultimately claimed 100 lives including Scotty's two friends that he went there with. Dealing with grief and survivor's guilt, the years that followed the tragedy were somewhat chaotic as Scotty struggled to conquer his demons. His lifelong passion for music is what helped pull him through and is the true "fire" that won't go out in Scotty's heart. This is his story in his own words.
