Chris Wink played drums in bottom-tier NY post-punk bands while at the same time worked as a “cater-waiter” at Glorious Foods. He began planning Blue Man Group’s first event, “Funeral For the 80’s” with his two friends, Matt Goldman and Phil Stanton. He was finally able to focus on Blue Man Group full-time when the show opened at the Astor Place Theatre in 1991. Chris has been working at Blue Man Group full time ever since.
