Placelet is a system for collecting, analyzing and visualizing data on the human experience of urban places. A network of physical sensors collects movement, audio and air quality data with the goal of better correlating physical conditions and activity with the invisible economic and social patterns that shape the public realm at the scale of a single urban block or streetscape.
