A field-recorded encounter with some of the more eccentric folk rituals of the Norfolk Broads - through the eyes of one homegrown fabulist. It features music by Sam Amidon as well as traditional Norfolk singers Billy Bennington and Sam Larner.
Our film premiered at the BFI London Film Festival in 2014, and a year later we're releasing it online. The film played numerous UK film festivals, but foreign screenings proved a challenge - presumably because of Ken's rich and uncompromising regional accent. We're currently completing a film about English folk icon The Ballad of Shirley Collins, and our last film, feature documentary Way of the Morris, is available on Vimeo on Demand.
