Tuomas Seimola, an ornithologist/"birder" highly knowledgeable about South American birds, flew in from Finland to enjoy a "Big Day" together with his friends Rudy Gelis, Dusan Brinkhuizen, and Mitch Lysinger. On October 8, 2015, Tuomas and the others set a new world's record by identifying 431 birds in 24 hours. This interview was made in the cloud forests of the eastern slope of the Ecuadorian Andes about 28 hours before the "Big Day" started, at Midnight on October 8, 2015.
