Henry Worsley aims to raise £100,000 for the Endeavour Fund by making the first ever solo crossing of the Antarctic landmass, unsupported and unassisted.
On October 20th 2015, polar explorer Henry Worsley will begin his Shackleton Solo expedition. An epic journey through the heart of Antarctica in this the centenary year of Shackleton's famous Endurance expedition, Henry's epic mission commemorates Shackleton's exploits by crossing the continent as Shackleton intended to do in 1915.
Henry's aim is to raise £100,000 to help the Endeavour Fund support the recovery of servicemen and women as they explore new physical challenges to build confidence and optimism for the next chapter of their lives.
