Raw unofficial but authorized video of Viscera (Debbie Jaffe and Hal McGee) before and after our performance opening for Algebra Suicide, Saturday, August 23, 1986, at Phyllis' Musical Inn, 1800 West Division Street, Chicago, Illinois, USA. Film by Scribble. Produced by Scott Colburn. Don Hedeker and Lydia Tomkiw of Algebra Suicide invited us to come to Chicago from Indianapolis to open for them at their album release show for their BIG SKIN cassette release, which was issued by our Cause And Effect label. A complete video recording of Viscera's performance that night can be viewed here - vimeo.com/142622731 In the first four minutes of this hour-long video you can see us hanging out with Don and Lydia at their apartment before going to the venue. Part 2 consists of us setting up our gear at Phyllis'. Part 3 is Algebra Suicide doing a soundcheck and warm-up. Part 4 is Viscera's soundcheck. Part 5 features Debbie Jaffe and Lydia Tomkiw outside the venue. Part 6 is the morning after the show, at Don & Lydia's apartment. Many thanks to Scott Colburn for production and digital transfer from Scribble's original VHS recording.
