I'm really starting to like how this plane is performing now. I moved the camera angles more forward and down for the perfect views. At the same time I made the camera pods more robust and with a quick release holder for easy access. I put the FPV camera on a normal servo for limited panning (just for flying) and added a "Guiding Frame" made from music wire that shows me when I'm flying straight and level. Believe me with the wide angle view it's not as easy to be as sure of your attitude as you might think. I love this feature! It helps with the FPV flying quite a bit.
Since I need the weight up front to balance the plane I'm thinking of adding another GoPro on the front with the same limited pan (but without the wire in view) I'll test it first but using one from the left wing and inserting a dummy weight in it's place.
