Conversations with Our Mother

This short film by Amanda Cantrell Roche was created for and premiered at Blue Moves Modern Dance Company's earth-themed outdoor dance, nature and multimedia experience, "Blue Terra", on Saturday and Sunday, September 26 and 27, 2015 at Shelby Bottoms Nature Center in Nashville, Tennessee. Interspersed with choreography and nature footage, it features the voices of 10 Nashvillians who represent a diversity of ages and backgrounds. Artists, environmental experts and activists, residents of homeless camps, refugee students and more answered the same three basic questions: If the earth could speak, what would she say?
