A short clip showcasing the work of Jean A. Dee entitled "Di-Matinag" or "Indestructible" during the 53rd Japan Fashion Design Contest. October 10, 2015. This was taken during the 3rd show which was scheduled at 6:30pm.
The entry features the use of indigenous fibers and dye from the Philippines. The materials were designed and customized especially for the clothes and features traditional textile techniques such as ikat weaving and kosikos pattern.
All textiles used were developed in collaboration with the Philippine Textile Research Institute (PTRI).
