For Episode 9 of the Sitecore! Experienced Podcast, our final episode, our guest is our own Mark Servais!
Mark is sharing his learnings with using SPEAK and giving us a demo for the ages (or the aged).
Mark needs no introduction to Wisconsin Law Enforcement, but to us it is necessary. In the past he has been referred to as one of the brightest minds out of Green Bay, Wisconsin - which is a lot like picking out the smartest cow in a butcher shop.
Mark is a closet musician, introverted comedy writer, a bad example for children and the elderly, a 2nd place champion at the 1990 Wisconsin DECA conference, the 2nd place winner at Quincy, Illinois’ 1994 Boom Fest in the 0 to 100 watts category, and can eat two boxes of Kraft macaroni and cheese in one sitting which surprisingly has no awards associated to such a feat of strength.
Mark’s career spans between the age of 25 and 30 - which is the past 3+ decades. Mark started writing Zork-like games on his Apple //e before diving into the exciting and energetic world of business software on the IBM AS/400. When Mark finally drank the Kool-Aid around Microsoft Technologies, he hasn’t looked back and is now the Director of Software Research and Development at XCentium, Sitecore MVP and also now a recently recognized hand model.
