This is an edited 25 min. version of an original 54 min. video of the 2010 ceremony at Ft. Knox taken by Henry Wheat, a member of the all-era Association of 3d Armored Division Veterans (A3ADV). This memorial ceremony was arranged by the A3ADV as part of their 2010 reunion in nearby Louisville, KY. In addition to master of ceremonies Rich Primeyer, this version features the speeches of 3AD WWII veteran Bill Ruth (Service Co., 33rd AR) and 3AD Cold War veteran Daryl Gordon (HHB 2-6 Field Artillery 1967-1970), then President of the A3ADV. The wreath bearers in the video are Paul Lawrence (3AD Cold War vet) and his wife Pat. Cold War vet Dan O'Leary (2-1 Cavalry, 3-33 Armor 1962-1964, and long-time Board member of A3ADV) was in charge of arranging the ceremony. Not shown in this version, but included in the original, was a speech by Lt. Col. Michael Bramley, Commander of 1/16th Cav. at Ft. Knox. Support for the ceremony included music by the 38th Inf. Div. band of the Indiana National Guard, Color Guard by the Ft. Knox NCO Academy, and Gun Salute Team from American Legion Post 113, Elizabethtown, KY.
