'Resonance'. 'Magnetic fields'. 'Mer ka ba'. 'Tree of life'. 'E8', 'Vortex', 'Alchemy'. For ten years, threeASFOUR has pioneered a unique creative language at the intersection of fashion, sculpture, and mysticism. Celebrating a decade of creation, threeASFOUR Spring/Summer 2016 presents INTERDIMENSIONAL: a meta-retrospective collection recasting elements from its design legacy in an exalted palette of flesh tones. Signature curvilinear construction and new technologies shape a vestiary multiverse driven by the sacred dimensionality of nature. Menswear, suiting, tunics, swim, and a constellation of dresses cut spiral seams in soft cotton, poplin, and jersey, marrying sophisticated tailoring to a friendly cool. Past and future reconcile in digital lace. Topographic layering intermixes with laser-cutting and fractal prints. Continuing the trio's gallant exploration of themes of human consciousness, INTERDIMENSIONAL unfolds a string theory of design that rides the edge between skin, intellect, and spirit.
