Faced with the possibility of big oil in their territories via Enbridge's Gateway Project, Coastal First Nations from BC travel to the Gulf to visit with locals, first nations and fishermen there to understand the impacts the spill is having on their cultures, fishing, health and lives.
In Part 1 we travel out to the bayous of Louisiana to see the effects the dispersant is having on the oil, and visit a local meeting where 1st Nations and a delegation from Ecuador share their similar experiences with big oil in their home territories.
