This is a video I made using Photoshop and After Effects. 1100 total layers (each frame), all stacked and blended together. The video was taken of my friend Kerry, a dance major at Ohio State University, in Sullivant Hall.
The concept is to portray performance art in a non-live action format, stacking every frame on top of each other all at once, allowing the viewer to see the entire performance in one glance. I then abstracted the idea to create a video displaying the concept into movement. Each frame is illuminated for just that individual frame's point in time, then back to its original dull color, sequentially according to its placement in the video.
Special thanks to the subject Kerry Sellers, and two friends of mine who developed the concept with me, Alex Smith and Nathan Sugar.
