There are an estimated 18,000 adults with autism, of different severity, in Singapore.
Mr Ashwin Gopala Krishnan, 23, is one of them.
With adult services here only in its infancy, Ashwin faces an uncertain future. But the young man pushes on, with much help from his family, his therapists, medication and an endearing sense of humour.
