It's the day kids of all ages have been waiting for all year long: Halloween. But before the little ones go out trick or treating, there are some things you can do to make sure they have a safe and fun time.

On Halloween, don't forget to:
•Always have an adult with the children while they trick or treat. Trick or treat in groups.
•Trick or treat before nightfall.
•Don't let children eat candy without checking it first.
•Make sure costumes are reflective so anyone can see them in the dark.
•If your children are wearing a mask, make sure they can breathe well and see where they are going.
•Have a flashlight handy.
•Drive slowly when going through neighborhoods with kids trick or treating.
