Exterior projections of multi-media interactive artwork of the simulation of a Chinese railway worker trying to escape from an exploding tunnel at Fraser Canyon B.C. in 1883.
Audiences are invited to play a few random notes on the Erhu.
The connected computer will analyze the notes, one of three series of digitized images of a dilated eye pupil will be displayed, and the fate of the worker in escaping from the explosion will be revealed.
The extent of the dilation of the pupils will represent the scale of danger of an explosive situation for the worker.
Large = uninjured, medium = injured, small = death.
