Joe Lahout comes from humble beginnings. Born in 1922, he is the pioneer of America's Oldest Ski Shop; a 4th-generation family run business that started pedaling goods from a horse and wagon. This past summer, Nick Martini and Stept Productions went back to their roots to capture the story of 93-year old Joe, who still lives in the apartment he was born in above the original store. The crew spent a few days exploring the White Mountains, learning about the area, shop, and life spent in the outdoors. From steel to wood, leather to Raichle, Joe has been there for it all. This film was exclusively hosted by Teton Gravity Research on November 2nd as well as picked up by the Boston Globe, Washington Post, Outside Magazine, Freeskier Magazine, SKI Magazine, and Huckberry Journal, among other media outlets.
