Feeling sad with "bad" Houdini modeling? Why not to integrate Maya as Houdini Modeling tool then?
I am happy to show live Maya-Houdini integration. All surface information/modification will affect Houdini SOP immediately.
That could be completely live connection or "connection-on-demand", when Houdini geometry will update after mouse button release in Maya (keep the performance of network connection).
The pipeline completely platform-independent. Maya user can work somewhere in UK on PC but Houdini can work, for example, in USA on Linux server!
Houdini geometry will be re-created after lost connection/houdini crash/geometry deleting accidentally etc.
