VILLAIN - audio-visual techno liveset excerpt

Here is a short excerpt in HD of a techno AV liveset created under the Villain moniker in 2014.

The setup is live mixing, drum switching and synth work in Ableton Live with MIDI running across to (the equally awesome) VDMX where each channel of audio has it's own Quartz Composer clip generating reactive video in real-time.

This was the first time I had each of the QC 'visual synths' reacting to MIDI and not just audio peak level.
