Roger Krulak, Senior VP for Modular Construction at Forest City Ratner Companies in New York, gave a presentation at the recent Digital Construction Week event in London, UK. Roger's presentation covered a range of significant benefits that using modular construction can bring to a project. He showed how these processes have been deployed on their B2 Pacific Park project in Brooklyn, New York - the tallest volumetric modular construction building in the world.
Roger also showed how Fulcro continues to be a key partner in delivering the project. Fulcro uses a range of BIM and Virtual Design and Construction processes and technologies to ensure that the design and manufacture of the modules in the factory is fully coordinated and to a high level of accuracy so that the work and disruption on site is minimised.
The global COINS:FULCRO partnership is in a unique position to work with the industry to manage information, improve design and construction assembly and handle the data exchange to empower the life cycle of any project.
