This film is a documentation of the danish artist POUL PEDERSEN's project REGN-SKOV.
He was inspired by David Tudor's electro-acoustic composition Rainforest. A sound landscape, a living, pulsating jungle created by sounds and vibrations sent through different metal objects acting as the loudspeakers. A bombaardment of the senses which sends us into the rainforest surrounded by bird cries and animal noises.
The discovery of this jungle of sound created an image in Poul Pedersens mind, and sparked the idea for a project he named REGN-SKOV. This project took place and was performed in The Danish Art Workshop in may-june 2015 along with two other assistants, artists Anders Bonnesen and Kit Kjølhede
Two friends of Poul Pedersen, Katrine Nyholm and Jan Rusz, both filmmakers, visited the site once a week during the two month long process. The film is the result of their work.
