Mary Miss, artistic director of Mary Miss/City as Living Laboratory, explains the environmental installations she and her studio created for StreamLines. The site-specific art invites the community to learn, explore and experience the science of local water systems.
StreamLines is an interactive, place-based project that merges the sciences and the arts to advance the community's understanding and appreciation of Indianapolis' waterways. This work is made possible by a grant from the National Science Foundation and is modeled on the City as Living Laboratory/FRAMEWORK.
