A baroque revenge drama in miniature. A taxidermist and his animals.

This film used and developed the thinking of Secret Joy and many of the techniques. It maintained the approach of layering up translucent levels, but used more photographically originated material (again handmade puppets and the trusty Nikon to create pegged artwork, but also including live action.) Once it was all in a digital domain on a Quantel Henry, the layers were treated very much the same way as Secret Joy, with the digital post-production machine acting in the same way as the rostrum camera as the machine/process that could weld all the layers together into a picture that had some sense of mystery or depth.
