Quixote Village grew from the vision of a self-governing tent camp of homeless adults in Olympia, Washington. It also grew out the conviction of Tim Ransom and Jill severn that there was a better way. The story is a collaboration of leaders, homeless and quiet supporters of the growing vision that tents could be replaced by residences. The Village consists of 30 tiny cottages, a large vegetable garden and a community building that contains showers, laundry facilities, a communal kitchen and living and dining space.
