"I'd Join Again" is the story of a woman veteran from World War II who joined the U.S. Army in 1945. She talks about her cross-country journey working as a supply clerk at various G.I. hospitals during the last year of the war. While she recalls memories from the past, she contemplates her role as a woman in the military during that time period. She always wanted to go overseas, but as a clerk she had to remain in the U.S. to support her male counterparts as they returned home from war.
