Four Sessions, 2014
Four channel video installation
A commission by the Anyang Public Arts Project, Korea
Four Sessions was a series of modified gestalt therapy sessions with well known Korean "Intangible Cultural Treasures."
Each set of sessions focused on an object relevant to the craftpersons' process: an unfinished pearl inlay bowl holding a past trauma, a forgotten practice rope, the reverberations of a traditional drum, and the various states of shamanic channeling.
