As a freelance iOS Developer, I often get asked what I worked on. Since I never had a chance to work on some wildly popular app that everyone heard of, I usually dig up a bunch of App Store links, but those are boring and aren't eternal. Apps go missing from the store due to expired dev accounts, someone else updates (and butchers) them, client decides to only have them available in certain countries. etc.
So I decided to make a video...
I wanted to keep it under 2 minutes (if you don't have that much time, there is a shorter version on Twitter twitter.com/fichek/status/667920822913409024) so I focused mostly on apps that you can't find on the App Store (due to reasons mentioned above) and some experiments which never made it to the App Store in the first place (like that Clear clone at 0:25 I made for fun). Everything you see here is a native iOS app running either on iOS Simulator or device. Some apps shown date back as far as 2009 so I apologize for non-retina assets.
