"Antoine speaks to mirrors. He would really like to please his parents. Especially his father, who is so proud of his own beautifully framed university degree.
Antoine wants to succeed. So does his younger brother Daniel. He has just received a luxury limousine, that’s how much his employers like him. Antoine can’t find a job. He tries though. So he starts telling lies. Small lies. Big lies. Mad lies.
Tom Geens takes us to the end of unrest. The camera cuts through the heart of despair, extracting all light. This world, poor and unforgiving, is our world. Tom Geens does not lie. He knocks you over."
