From a girl-owned coffee shop in rural Staples, Minnesota to organic farms and farm markets in urban East St. Paul, teens across the state are leading the way toward sustainable change of their communities, families, and themselves. These youth are part of a larger international movement called Youth Social Entrepreneurship (YSE): a dramatically creative, effective, youth-led approach to adolescent development. Championed by kids, supported by adults, these initiatives give tees real life business development opportunities, jobs (often paid). life-altering experiences and exuberant hop toward building successful futures. "Changemakers" introduces teens, parents educators, mentors and funders to five Youth Social Entrepreneurship groups in Minnesota. The unfolding stories of their business developments are told in compelling ways; viewers will be inspired to say, "teens we know and care about can do this, too!"
