In June 2015, I traveled to Tunisa to visit my longtime friend in his home country. In our two week trek across the country, we started north where we saw the beautiful architecture of Sidi Bou Said, made our way down south to the never-ending salt flats of Chott El-Djerid, and finally ended up in Ksar Ghilane where we camped under the night sky of the Sahara Desert. This short documentary is for the people of Tunisia, for they are the ones who believe democracy is not just a political system -- but a way of life.
