Shot over a six week span from four different angles, this collection of photos documenting the demolition of the last of seven towers in Dublin's Ballymun which were built in 1966/67. Each 15 story tower was named after the signatories of the 1916 proclamation Thomas J. Clarke, Seán Mac Diarmada, Thomas MacDonagh, P. H. Pearse, Éamonn Ceannt, James Connolly and Joseph Plunkett.
I have been photographing this area for the last 11 years as the regeneration began to when this last monument to a project designed to re-house families from the inner city begins a new life. This video is a time capsule for the future when we are gone to tell tale of "The Mun".
Dedicated to some one who I think of and miss every day..
