Daniel Davis, Lead Researcher at WeWork. He was prevously a Senior Researcher at Case, where he lead the firm’s research programme, which focuses on how data and technology are impacting the building industry. With a PhD in computational design from RMIT University, Daniel’s research has ranged from ethnographic studies of eminent architectural firms, to quantitative analysis of models produced by architects.Daniel writes regularly about technology and architecture. He has a monthly column in both Architect Magazine and the Autodesk User Group International (AUGI). His writing has appeared in AD, ArchDaily, ENR, Design Reform, and the International Journal of Architectural Computing, as well as books such as ‘Thought Leaders of BIM’ (2014), ‘Designing the Dynamic’ (2013), and ‘Scripting the Future’ (2012). Davis, originally trained as an architect in New Zealand, has spent the past five years contributing to Antoni Gaudí’s Sagrada Família.
