There have been two very destructive revolutions in economic history, the Neolithic and the Industrial. We are on the verge of the third--Tomorrow 3.0. We own too many things, which wastes space and resources. If entrepreneurs can move from selling stuff to selling reductions in transactions costs, it will become possible to rent, share, or cooperate on dimensions that were unimaginable ten years ago. The three main aspects of transactions costs: transact, trust, and transport, will be integrated into a "product" that is sold via software platforms on smart phones.
