Bethany Academy parent Angela Ramey makes a basketball shot at half-court to help offset the cost of tuition for her daughter and, most importantly, she says, the chance to raise awareness about families in need of food assistance. As someone who grew up in a house where food was scarce, the event was about so much more than the tuition.
